Project Kick-off Meeting in Poland, 11th – 14th December 2016
The kick-off meeting for the ‘S.P.R.E.A.D. – Sharing good Practices foR European mobility Activities Development’ project was held in Rzeszow, Poland between the 11th and 14th December, 2016. The event was successfully hosted by one of the project partners, Danmar Computers, and attended by all five international partners from Italy, Malta, Portugal, Austria and the UK.
During the meeting in Poland, each partner presented themselves and their institutions and the project was introduced assuring its awareness, objectives, activities and results. Discussions followed about the roles and responsibilities of each partner and a work plan together with a timetable of activities with deadlines and milestones was fixed. Project monitoring, evaluation, quality assurance procedures and dissemination strategy were all defined.
The project, by means of these activities, aims to guarantee an higher and higher quality level in the implementation of transnational mobility projects and to meet better the participants’ needs.
The next steps were discussed including the creation of local participants and stakeholders databases, selection of participants, the creation of the website and Facebook page and the organisation of the local seminars.
Six joint staff training events will be organised throughout the project and the following topics will be covered: Competences of tutors and mentors; Intercultural issues in transnational projects; ECVET methodology and the validation and recognition of competences; ITC tools for the implementation and management of European projects; Quality in mobility projects; Dissemination and Exploitation of results. Following each training event a local seminar will be organised by each project partner to transfer the knowledge gained to local stakeholders. The first Joint Staff Training event will take place from the 6th to the 10th March 2017 in Lisbon, Portugal, will be hosted and organised by Euroyouth and will discuss the Competences of Tutors and Mentors in Mobility Projects.
